- Providing pit and quarry operation regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting;
- Advice and consultation services for pit and quarry licence and permit applications, site plan amendments, and related development applications and amendments eg. Official Plan amendments (Planning Act), Zoning Bylaw amendments (Municipal Act), Permits to Take Water (PTTW – Water Resources Act), Environmental Approvals (Environmental Protection Act),
- Provide advice, training and development of contingency plans related to the Occupational Health and Safety Act pertaining to regulations for Mining and Mining Plants, Construction and Industrial regulations;
- Providing advice and consultation services relating to legislative changes proposed by government that potentially lead to changes to regulations, standards and policy and procedures affecting extraction operations;
- Providing facilitation skills to resolve complicated issues and develop reasonable outcomes with enforceable conditions
